Construction of radar-based hydrometeorological disaster prevention information network in tropical peatland in Indonesia
Overview of the research
The main research theme is to construct a hydrometeorological disaster prevention information network in tropical peatland in Indonesia. The research subjects are as follows. (1) For understanding the water balance of precipitation in tropical peatland in Indonesia, estimation of rainfall by radar, grasp of rainfall distribution characteristics and rainfall runoff process, (2) Understanding of characteristics of radar wave scattering of particles that float in the air in the occurrences of haze.
