        Cellular and molecular mechanisms of immunosenescence that underlie the pathogenesis of age-related diseases.
      • Overview of the research

        Immunosenescence underlies the pathogenesis of age-related diseases, but the mechanism is not fully understood. We aim to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms of T-cell aging (with a particular focus on senescence-associated T cells) that play a key role in immunesenescence and develop the effective means to prevent autoimmune diseases, neural disorders, and cancer.
