      1978年東京都生まれ。専門は植物系統進化学、生物地理学、島嶼生物学を中心とした多様性生物学です。多様な陸上植物がどのように進化して、現在の分布域を獲得するに至ったのかを明らかにしていきたいと考えています。様々な地域や植物を対象にフィールドワークからラボワークまで幅広く取り組み、系統進化や集団構造の見地から種多様性の維持・創出機構を理解することを目指しています。
