      • Research Topics

        Creation of Novel Nanocarbon Materials
      • Overview of the research

        Using structurally well-defined fullerenes and nanographenes (NGs) including graphene nanoribbons (GNRs), we design and synthesize novel nanocarbon materials with intriguing functions and properties. Also, we create highly π-conjugated nanocarbon systems such as OF-OF, OF-NG, and CNE-GNR hybrids constituting of our originally-designed molecules of fully-fused carbon nanoelbows (CNEs) and open-fullerenes (OFs).
