      Research Topics, Overview of the research

      • Overview of the research

        My research is grounded in human-computer interaction and explores intelligent information technologies for healthcare and rehabilitation. I develop methods that integrate diverse forms of data, including medical images, human motion, and physiological signals, using machine learning and generative AI. The goal is to support understanding of human conditions, clinical and professional decision-making, and complex tasks performed by experts. A distinctive feature of my work is its emphasis on connecting domain knowledge with AI rather than replacing human expertise. By considering explainability, usability, and real-world applicability from the design stage, I aim to create human-centered systems that augment professional practice and provide meaningful, practical support in both clinical and everyday settings.
