      • Overview of the research

        My research focuses on predicting and mitigating wind‑induced vibration phenomena in various structures, including power transmission systems, communication facilities, and bridges, as well as developing wind‑resistant design methods that account for their dynamic behavior. In particular, I work on establishing response‑amplitude estimation techniques for large‑amplitude, nonlinear vibrations in cable structures. In addition, I conduct research on reducing snow‑related disasters to these infrastructures by investigating the mechanisms of wet‑snow accretion and snow accumulation and advancing design approaches for snow resistance.
