• Profile

  1970年生まれ、1993年京都大学工学部建築学科卒業、1997年日本学術振興会特別研究員、1998年京都大学大学院工学研究科助手、2005年大阪市立大学准教授、2013年同教授を経て2016年から現職。
  
  人の行動や心理にもとづく建築・施設設計・研究に取り組む．博士課程で出会った阪神淡路大震災後のケア付き仮設住宅，グループハウス尼崎での実践が原点．
  
  2018年度国土交通省スマートウェルネス住宅等推進モデル事業評価委員ほか
  
  「グループハウスあまがさき」，「ニッケてとて加古川」「ニッケあすも市川」などの計画・設計にかかわる．著書に「小規模多機能ホーム読本」（ミネルヴァ書房）、「いきている長屋」（大阪公立大学共同出版会）ほか，訳書に「環境デザイン学入門」（鹿島出版会），

• Overview of the research

  In order for societies to realize a noticeable level of affluence while keeping it sustainable in the upcoming period of decreasing population, we need architecture and regional planning that consider things such as human well-being, ecology and healthcare in addition to efficiency and functionality. By applying such smart wellness functions to architecture and regional planning, we analyze and evaluate not only efficiency and functionality, but also the psychology and behaviors of various users from a relational perspective, and use the results to create desirable plans, designs, practices, and policies.
