主な研究課題は、学習者の第二言語習得(Second Language Acquisition, or SLA)を補助するにあたって、コンピュータを用いたゲームや仮想空間がどのように有効活用できるかということです。現在はSecond Lifeという仮想空間における学習者間のやり取り(interaction)のありかたを研究し、このような環境が、CALLにおいてどのような可能性を持ち得るのかを探求しています。
