- 【研究：健康格差是正に向けた研究】Research for the Reduction of Health Inequities
  健康格差の影響を大きく受けやすい集団の一つである「海外にルーツを持つ人々」の健康増進に焦点を当てています。疫学的手法を中心に、質的研究をはじめとする多様なアプローチを組み合わせて研究を進めています。
  
  研究の柱は大きく2つあります。
  
  ・メンタルヘルスや孤独の解明に向けた研究　Research Aimed at Understanding Mental Health and Loneliness
  　疫学研究やソフトウェアなどのデバイス開発を主軸として進めています。
  ・大規模災害に向けた予防・支援に関する研究　Research on Preparedness and Support for Large-Scale Disasters

  保健所や保健センターで活動する保健師が直面する課題（母子保健、成人保健など）や潜在的な課題に対して、現場と連携しながら研究を行っています。
- 【研究：東南アジア諸国をフィールドとした保健事業評価研究】Field-Based Evaluation Studies of Health Programs in Southeast Asia
  フィリピンにおいて母子保健に関する健康課題の調査を実施しています（2011〜2020年、2025年〜現在）。これまでの主なテーマは、産後ケアや自宅出産の課題、鉄欠乏性貧血の現状およびその社会経済的要因です。現地のヘルスセンターや病院と協働しながら調査を行っており、フィールド調査を通じてフィリピン国内における健康格差や、医療職・保健ボランティアの果たす重要な役割を実感する貴重な機会となっています。フィリピン以外の国についても、研究の可能性を検討しています。
